Dear Lee:
Using Craftech for software development was suggested to me by Jim Logan who you know
personally. That turned out to be a excellent recommendation.
Craftech developed Windows and DOS software in support of the MicroTouch TouchBoard and
Extended Bezel products. These are touch sensitive pointing devices targeted at OEM
suppliers of kiosks, point-of-information displays, consumer oriented self-serve terminals
and other such devices.
The job required quite a diverse set of skills. Craftech wrote a DOS-based utility to
assist application developers in using these products. The utility is used to create
zones or touch areas. The end-user touches a zone to select an
item or operation. In addition, MicroTouch required a Windows dynamic link library
to interface to the MicroTouch Windows driver and feed zone information back to the
Windows application. Finally, the complete package required an installation and setup
utility. The fact that Craftech was able to deliver such a diverse set of components was a
great help to us.
Craftech delivered quality software, on time and on budget. The job was executed
offsite and much of the work was accomplished without the benefit of final hardware which
simply was not available until very late in the program. You have demonstrated eagerness
to resolve any problems brought to your attention (of which there were few!) and you have
represented yourself and your associates with the utmost professionalism.
In conclusion, Craftech will be the first organization I call in the future when
MicroTouch needs additional software help. Id also highly recommend Craftech to any
organization needing assistance with software development. Many thanks, and I look forward
to our next project!
Best Regards,
