To Whom It May Concern:

As we neared the end of the design phase of our product, IRE was faced with a disastrous problem. We were desperately in need of a PCI driver to run on the Window NT platform. The disaster we were faced with was that the Window NT developer we had hired decided to take on other work instead of completing the job. This led us to an aggressive search for an experienced Window NT driver developer that also worked with and understood PCI. We were given Craftech Software Designs, Inc. as a potential candidate and brought Lee Mowatt in for an interview.

To make the story short we chose to go with Craftech because of the experience they have in the development of Window NT drivers and their knowledge and prior work with PCI. Furthermore, Lee convinced us that unlike the other developer they would be dedicated to the completion of the job. Lee said that Craftech’s credibility rides on them successfully completing the work and more importantly that they will deliver on time and their quality will be unmatched. This came across as a bit arrogant at first but to date they have delivered on all of their commitments to us.

Since we were faced with an aggressive schedule to get a PCI driver to work we changed the tasks and deadlines several times throughout the job. Even though the task changed several times Lee continued to find ways to meet our changing requirements. In fact early on Lee played an important role in helping us debug our hardware board that Craftech’s PCI driver would eventually communicate with.

Since our product is a hardware card that connects to a PC via PCI we initially felt that the Window NT developer would have to work on site. This view has changed because Lee proved to us that with Craftech’s experience in Windows, PCI, and hardware they are able to do all of the development at his office successfully. Although Lee works from his office he has been very accommodating about visiting our office for reviews or problems whenever we requested him to. In fact, Lee once came in on a Saturday evening to work with our software engineers on a problem in the design of their code.

Beyond Lee’s technical expertise in Windows/PCI and his commitment to the job, his company, Craftech, has demonstrated a professional atmosphere from day one. This includes all aspects of the company from accounting through development. Because of this we will continue to use Craftech for future work and would highly recommend Craftech to others.
